Dr. Reuben is medically qualified beyond any standard in plastic surgery. He is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is also a classically trained plastic surgeon having completed a 6-year general surgery residency at the University of Utah prior to embarking on his plastic surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Reuben is also trained to be on the cutting edge of advancements in the art and science of plastic surgery. His additional 3 years of plastic surgery training was at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh. The University of Pittsburgh is widely respected as one of the best plastic surgery programs in the world and consistently rated in the Top 5 Plastic Surgery training programs in the U.S.

Dr. Reuben was personally trained by top plastic surgeons in the fields of both reconstructive plastic surgery as well as cosmetic surgery. He was trained by Peter Rubin, the surgeon who designed, developed and wrote the text books on body contouring and lipo-shaping. In the area of breast reconstructive surgery, Dr. Reuben was trained by the surgeon who developed the procedure that allows women to use their own tissue to rebuild a breast after mastectomy. And Dr. Reuben was trained by Dr. Coleman, the world’s leading expert in fat grafting and fat transfer.

Dr. Reuben runs his own practice in plastic and cosmetic surgery and is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at LDS Hospital. His extensive training in medicine, plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as microsurgery means he is uniquely qualified to perform your surgery, and you can trust your results and safety are in good hands.
