Hair loss conditions result in the loss or thinning of hair in specific parts of the scalp, such as the hairline and the crown. Hair follicles in other areas, such as the back and sides of the head, are resistant to these conditions and genetically programmed for optimal growth. What are the ARTAS® recovery and results?

As part of the ARTAS® procedure, the scalp is numbed, and the patient typically feels no pain. The ARTAS® system allows a virtually undetectable and minimally invasive procedure with no need for the surgical removal of a strip of scalp from the back and sides of the head. One of the benefits of this method is the significantly shortened recovery time. You may experience minor discomfort and swelling post-procedure, which subsides in one to three days.
